The Traffic Accident Rate in Young Drivers

This diploma thesis is focused at accident rate of young drivers in Czech Republic. First part of the thesis is dedicated to theoretical background where young people psychological behaviors are described. There are also described several specific accidents from expertise point of view. Another part dives into statistics of accidents in the Czech Republic in the last nine years. Last part of the thesis recommends some specific countermeasures for practical implementation.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the risk behavior of pupils at secondary vocational schools and its prevention. The specific aim of this thesis is to define and describe individual components and forms of risk behavior of pupils at the secondary vocational schools and at the same time to focus on the possibilities of prevention. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the description of terms related to the main goal of this thesis, such as risk behavior, its forms, addictive behavior and its forms, educational factors and related concepts. The practical part presents an insight into the research of the author of the work, contains the methodology and results of quantitative research focused on the main research question, whether and to what extent addictive behavior occurs at secondary vocational schools.
Leisure activities and its influence on risk behavior within adolescents

(in English): The topic of the thesis is Leisure time and its influence on risk behavior of adolescents. The aim of the study was to characterize the relation between manners of leisure time spending and risk behavior in adolescent age. The first part is dedicated to a theoretical basis for research. There are definitions of the terms leisure time and its specifics of adolescent, particular attention is paid to leisure activities. Following is characterized the period of adolescence. The conclusion of theoretical part deals with risk behavior, its various forms and factors that affects it. The second part is dedicated to research, which took place on the Semily district. Based on the analysis of scientific literature and researches was prepared a research tool - the questionnaire. By obtained data analyze I was able to fill the objective of the work and thus characterize the relation between manners of leisure time spending and risk behavior in adolescent age. The effect of the regular participation in leisure activities was proofed as one of the protective factors in risk behavior. Teachers' recognition and behavior toward the violent radicalisation of students

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of the potential risk of radicalization in the school environment. It is based on a foreign research study focused on the ability to recognize the risks of radicalization of teachers and the degree of their reaction to the situation. The first part defines terms such as radicalization, extremism and terrorism, defines the trend of prevention of radicalization in the Czech Republic and describes radicalization in children. The second part is focused on the factors and levels of the radicalization process, radicalization processes and models of recognizing radicalization processes. The third part deals with the description and analysis of a foreign questionnaire adapted to the Czech environment. The research questions are concerned with the frequency of different reactions of teachers to the potentially demanding radicalization process of a student, the confidence of teachers in solving the problem of the potential radicalization process of a student, the attitude of teachers with current anti-radicalization measures and the level of concern. The conclusions of the diploma thesis demonstrate the inadequate level of response of Czech teachers to the potential radicalization process of the student. Knowledge of adolescent girls about pregnancy, childbirth and contraception.

The bachelor's thesis entitled Knowledge of adolescent girls about pregnancy, childbirth, contraception, focuses on the level of awareness of adolescent girls about pregnancy, childbirth and contraception. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the developmental stages of man from conception to old age. A special chapter is devoted to the period of adolescence and risky behavior of adolescents - at this stage of their lives, because the respondents are adolescent girls. Furthermore, the theoretical part contains the period of pregnancy, the stage of childbirth and types of contraception. Because it is very important for adolescent girls to receive information about contraception, pregnancy and childbirth, the last chapter mentions the importance of educating adolescent girls by midwives and their communication together. In the research survey, a quantitative method was chosen and data collection took place in the form of a non-standardized questionnaire, which was published on social networks. The questionnaire consisted of 28 questions, of which 19 were closed and 9 semi-closed. The data obtained by the research survey were processed and evaluated using a computer program Microsoft Excel. Graphs were created for each questionnaire, which shows the answers of adolescent girls. The research group consisted of 71 respondents aged 16 to 20 years. The aim of this work was to find out whether adolescent girls have knowledge about pregnancy, childbirth and contraception. Six hypotheses were established for the research part. The first hypothesis was to find out whether adolescent girls aged 18-20 have more information about pregnancy than girls aged 16-17. This hypothesis was refuted. The second hypothesis was: Adolescent girls aged 18-20 have more information about childbirth than girls aged 16-17. The sec- ond hypothesis was also refuted. Third hypothesis: Adolescent girls aged 18-20 have more information about contraception than girls aged 16-17. This hypothesis was con- firmed. Fourth hypothesis: Teenage girls in secondary medical schools have more knowledge about pregnancy than teenage girls in grammar schools and high schools with- out a high school diploma. The fourth hypothesis was confirmed in the research. The fifth hypothesis was to find out whether adolescent girls in secondary medical schools have more knowledge about childbirth than adolescent girls in high schools and high schools without a high school diploma. This hypothesis was refuted. The last, sixth hypothesis was: Teenage girls in secondary medical schools have more knowledge about contracep- tion than teenage girls in grammar schools and high schools without a high school di- ploma. This hypothesis was refuted.
The methodology of prevention in primary schools

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out how primary prevention is implemented. What types of risky behaviour do the respondents encounter most often according to their experience. The benefits of prevention programs are shown, but also the weaknesses that the primary prevention system has. The work is divided into practical and theoretical parts. The theoretical part is based on the technical literature. It focuses on the characteristics of the areas of school prevention, its division and the subjects responsible for its implementation. The types of risky behaviour are also discussed, including possible causes, consequences and methods of dealing with them. The practical part is based on a qualitative research method. On the basis of the prevention programmes, interviews and observations carried out, the research questions that are the aim of this work are elaborated and subsequently evaluated.
Prevention of risky behavior in the army environment of the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with risk behavior and programs for its prevention in the Czech Army environment. The theoretical part introduces the reader to the general concept of standards and risk behavior, the characteristics and occurrence of risk behavior in the Army of the Czech Republic. There is a general description of prevention and introduced Concept of prevention of risk behaviorin the Army of the Czech Republic. The methodological part of the thesis contains quantitative research by means of a questionnaire survey focused on finding out the rate of occurrence of risky behavior and finding out the respondents' opinion on preventive programs to minimize risky behavior.
A summary research report focusing on cumulative effects of social disadvantage on health and quality of life

The report assesses the impact of socio-economic conditions on quality of life and health. It draws on both a sociological perspective and sociological indicators (i.e. subjective health, subjective quality of life) and a multidisciplinary perspective and biomedical indicators (i.e. biomarkers). The report documents in detail the differences in health by education and marital status, taking into account the work situation. Significant attention is paid to risk behaviours and sleep patterns.
Characteristics of alcohol use among adolescents in secondary and higher vocational schools in Most Region

Background: The use of alcohol beverages in adolescent group is a social problem. Teenagers are more likely to be exposed to alcohol as something worth experimenting on. They will neglect the side effects and warnings for alcohol in long term and that is potentially great issue. Also, in Czech society we mostly consider the not drinking of alcohol as antisocial behavior. The peer pressure of the teenager groups on not-drinking individuals to be not antisocial is even more urgent after use of alcohol with short-term effect as feeling fearless or boosted self-confidence. Aim: Describe and analyze the characteristics of alcohol use among adolescents at secondary and higher vocational schools in Most Region. Methods: Data were collected in the spring of 2022 by questionnaire inquiry. Population consisted of 697 students of secondary and higher vocational schools in Most Region. The sample was 680 respondents. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and the results displayed using tables and graphs. Results: 91.3 % of respondents tasted alcohol at some point in their lives. The average age of first experience with alcohol is 13.2 years. The most common alcohol among respondent sis hard liquor 36.2 %. It is mostly used in the club by 27.1 %. Consumption with friends was reported by 58.7 %....
Thematic composition of school primary prevention programs of risky behavior: research among certified school prevention providers

Background: The topics of general primary prevention are strongly associated with the concept of nine basic types of risky behavior in professional publications and methodological recommendations. Providers of primary prevention programs may offer topics beyond the basic ones, but previous research does not pay much attention to them. Aims: The aim of the diploma thesis is to map what topics are offered by certified providers of general primary prevention of risky behavior in the Czech Republic and what are the most frequently provided goals of these topics. Next, find out according to what criteria the topics are selected and to what extent the organizations implement programs according to the basic nine types of risky behavior. Methods: This is a quantitative research among certified providers of general primary prevention of risky behavior, which was carried out in two phases. First, a content analysis of the offer sheets took place. The data from the first phase of the research were processed using clustering and simple enumeration. There was also a questionnaire survey among executives. The data collection tool consisted of an online questionnaire created in the Survio platform.
